Furthermore, GEPIA revealed co-expression relationships between MCM4 and key ferroptosis-related genes in melanoma patients, including positive correlations with ACSL4 [43], TP53, TFRC, GPX4, FTH1 [44], BCL-2, and SLC7A11 [45] and a negative correlation with LPCAT3 (Fig. S2), indicating the positive association of MCM4 with ferroptosis-regulating genes. This evidence concerns the gene TFRC and melanoma.
