Considering these confounding factors, the GWAS analysis of TMM‐V2 indicated that two genomic regions, located at 8q24.13 (rs188907279, P = 3.58022E‐08) near ZNF572 and 18p11.23 (rs57705782, P = 2.8088E‐08) near PTPRM, were loci associated with PPD above the whole genome‐wide significance threshold of 5 × 10−8. The gene discussed is ZNF572; the disease is progressive pseudorheumatoid arthropathy of childhood.
