The past few years have shown growing evidence of acute onset psychosis in children that is immune-mediated, particularly with N-Methyl-D-Aspartate (NMDA) receptor, Leucine-rich glioma inactivated-1 (LGI-1), contactin-associated protein-like 2 (CASPR2), and Glutamic Acid Decarboxylase (GAD65) (21, 22). This evidence concerns the gene GAD2 and psychotic disorder.
