To date, SMYD3 overexpression in cancerous tissues has been reported to occur in liver cancer, colon cancer,6 breast cancer,7 pancreatic cancer,8 prostate cancer,9 bladder cancer,10 gastric cancer,11 malignant glioma,12 esophageal squamous cell carcinoma,13 chronic lymph cell leukemia,14 and cervical cancer.15 This evidence concerns the gene SMYD3 and liver cancer.
