ATP4B and cytomegalovirus infection: The genes that are dysregulated in meta-analyses, such as ATP4A (ATPase H+/K+ transporting subunit alpha) (Fig. 7C), PGA5 (pepsinogen A5) (Fig. 7D), ATP4B (ATPase H+/K+ transporting subunit beta) (Fig. 7E), and PGA3 (pepsinogen A3) (Fig. 7F), are very much downregulated only in HCMV_GC, implying that these genes and associated pathways are modulated specifically by HCMV infection.
