TP53 and B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma: 2021; Das et al. 2023; Estabrooks et al. 2023). Approximately 16% of canine B-cell lymphomas (Fanelli A. et al. unpublished data) harbor TP53 mutations at the time of diagnosis, with roughly one in four cases of cDLBCL exhibiting mutated TP53 (Giannuzzi et al. 2022). Furthermore, the presence of TP53 mutations in cDLBCL correlates with an unfavorable outcome (Giannuzzi et al. 2022), highlighting the importance of incorporating such genetic information to inform clinical management and therapeutic decisions.
