The results of functional enrichment analysis showed that the predicted targets of miRNA were involved in a variety of biological functional processes, such as negative regulation of apoptosis, RNA binding, and gene expression (Figure 6(d)) and were associated with a variety of cancer-related pathways, such as proteoglycan, mRNA monitoring pathway, transcriptional imbalance in cancer, transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β), and P53 signaling pathway (Figure 6(e)).
