Western blotting results demonstrated a reduction in the phosphorylation/dephosphorylation ratios of total NFATc2 protein in Hep3B (from 1.00 to 0.32) and MHCC97H (from 1.00 to 0.13) SR HCC cells, along with an increase in the amount of nuclear NFATc2 protein, indicating higher STIM1 expression. This evidence concerns the gene NFATC2 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
