Chen et al. previously showed that the inhibition of HOXB-AS1 expression in multiple myeloma (MM) cells blocks the binding between ELAVL1 and FUT4, thereby regulating the FUT4‐mediated Wnt/β-catenin pathway and resulting in decreased proliferation and increased apoptosis of MM cells [32]. The gene discussed is ELAVL1; the disease is Miyoshi myopathy.
