More recent models recapitulating the genetic alterations found in AEL have shown that Trp53-deficiency or TP53 mutations cooperate with JAK2-V617F, NTRK1-H498R, NFIA-ETO2, and ERG to induce erythroleukemia in mice [4, 10–13]. Here, JAK2 is linked to acute erythroid leukemia.
