NPM1 and acute myeloid leukemia: Results from initial Phase 1/2 clinical studies revealed promising efficacy of menin inhibitors (e.g. Revumenib and Ziftomenib) in AML patients with KMT2A (MLL1) rearrangements and NPM1 mutations, with ∼45% overall response rate and ∼35% complete remission found for both drugs (29).
