TNF and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease: In an AlCl3-induced Alzheimer disease rat model, treatment with tea seed oil (1.5 or 3 mg/kg/day) through oral gavage for 8 weeks significantly improved cognitive performance in the Morris water maze by inhibiting the production of malondialdehyde, interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α.
