Using a mouse model, it was shown that T-ALL oncogene Notch1-activating mutations are upstream in a pathway leading to elevated expression of the G protein-coupled receptor C-C Chemokine Receptor 7 (CCR7) and that enhanced CCR7 levels promoted T-ALL invasion of the central nervous system (CNS) [8]. This evidence concerns the gene CCR7 and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
