Alterations in ALK and FGFR3, present in the RTK/RAS/MAPK signaling pathway, have been reported in cutaneous squamous cell carcinomas; in particular, alterations in ALK have been described as drivers of metastases in squamous cell carcinomas to the lymph nodes [38,39]. This evidence concerns the gene FGFR3 and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma.
