By contrast, the subgroup of FM participants that had received a diagnosis of ME/CFS as well seemed to present a more reduced benefit of symptoms associated with decreased levels of SIK1 (Figure 8, upper right), with significant improvement of the symptom domain of the FIQ questionnaire for low SIK1 levels only.
