In the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway, the expression of some genes related to respiratory burst oxidase (RBOH) was substantially up-regulated after F. graminearum infection, and the expression was the highest at 72 hpi, whereas the expression of some genes related to MAPK were up-regulated at the initial colonization stage and then down-regulated at the infection stage in YNM158 after F. graminearum infection (Figure 5G). This evidence concerns the gene WNK2 and infection.
