Published data suggest the involvement of many of these genes in inflammatory processes (ADAM17 [40,41,42], AHNAK [43,44], AIF1 [45,46,47], CCDC92 [48], CTBP1 [49], HCP5 [50], MAPKBP1 [51], and MAST3 [52]); obesity (TP53INP1 [53], TKT [54], ADAM17 [40,41], and AHNAK [55]), insulin resistance (TP53INP1 [53], TKT [54], and CCDC92 [48]); insulin secretion (GIPR [56], KCNJ15 [57], and AP3S2 [58], ARAP1 [59]); proliferation of pancreatic β-cells (CDKN1B [60] and CCND2 [61]); mitophagy (TP53INP1 [53]); glycolysis (TKT [54]); and carbohydrate transport (GBA2 [62]). Here, CCDC92 is linked to obesity disorder.
