The WHO CNS classification identifies four subtypes, including Grade 4 Diffuse midline glioma H3K27-altered, Grade 4 Diffuse hemispheric gliomas H3G34-mutant, Grade 4 pediatric-type high-grade gliomas H3-wildtype and IDH-wildtype, and infant-type hemispheric gliomas (Figure 1) [23]. The gene discussed is IDH1; the disease is central nervous system cancer.
