Cilengitide treatment of glaucoma LC cells significantly reduced the ECM gene expression of Col1A1 (from 1.022 ± 0.073 to 0.453 ± 0.064), αSMA (from 0.948 ± 0.068 to 0.239 ± 0.038), fibronectin (from 0.892 ± 0.067 to 0.198 ± 0.039), and vitronectin (from 0.877 ± 0.065 to 0.283 ± 0.071) (p < 0.05, n = 5) (Figure 5). The gene discussed is ACTA1; the disease is glaucoma.
