Interestingly, therapeutic Sox9 iKO significantly decreased Akt-YAP1 tumor burden at 6–8 weeks post-HDTVI (Figure 7B,C), bringing the LW/BW ratios down to 4–5, which is comparable to mice without tumors, suggesting a strong therapeutic effect in Akt-YAP1-driven liver cancer.
