Collectively, the results manifest PDCD10 as a key player in the regulation of proliferation and cell cycle checkpoints of TMZ-resistant GBM cells, and this is consistent with its previously defined role in proliferation and apoptosis in astrocytes [33], GBM cells [20,21,26], endothelial cells [34,35], and in other cancers [15,19,24,36]. This evidence concerns the gene PDCD10 and glioblastoma.
