In the entire group of patients with NSCLC, a significant positive correlation (Spearman’s correlation test) was found between the levels of expression observed for different pro-angiogenic factors, i.e., CD31 (r = 0.71, p < 0.001; Figure 6A), CD34 (r = 0.86, p < 0.001; Figure 6B), and CD105 (r = 0.55, p < 0.001; Figure 6C), assessed using the methods of Weidner and Chalkley. The gene discussed is CD34; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
