Given this strong association of WT1 expression with disease activity, recently, Chapius and colleagues targeted WT1 using T-cell receptor gene therapy in the post-transplant setting [35], while Augsberger and colleagues showed that WT1-bound-T-cell bispecific (TCB) antibodies facilitate the potent killing of AML cells in vitro [36]. This evidence concerns the gene WT1 and acute myeloid leukemia.
