The hormonal activity of the pituitary neoplasm was present in 20.2% of cases, and from those, more than half (55.6%) were diagnosed with a growth-hormone-secreting adenoma, followed by prolactinomas in 38.9%, adrenocorticotropic hormone-secreting tumours in 11.1%, and thyroid-stimulating hormone secretion in 5.6% of cases, as illustrated in Table 2.
