We collected data from flow cytometric analysis of surface CD169 on monocytes and an ELISA of IFN-α and soluble CD169 in peripheral blood, and compared these data in various pediatric inflammatory diseases including viral infection, bacterial infection , systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease (KFD), Kawasaki disease (KD) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This evidence concerns the gene IFNA1 and viral infectious disease.
