Many of these genes have been previously linked to brain-related disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease (WDR12, AGFG2, and CDK5RAP3), schizophrenia (SRA1, WDR55, CORO7, DDAH2, PCDHA8), autism spectrum disorder (MAPK3, PCDHA13), and major depressive disorder (ZMAT2 and ITIH4) [65–74].
