To summarize, METTL3 plays a tumor promoting role in PCa progression and targeted therapy resistance at least by catalyzing some oncogenes (c-Myc) (Liu et al., 2022) and core component of multiple signaling pathways including WNT signaling (CTNNB1) (Zhang S. et al., 2023), Hedgehog signaling (Gli) (Cai et al., 2019), MAPK signaling (HRAS, MEK2) (Li Y. et al., 2023). This evidence concerns the gene MYC and posterior cortical atrophy.
