However, functional enrichment analysis in the two groups of mice with liver failure showed that SEMA6B knockout significantly downregulated inflammation-related biological processes, including positive regulation of type II interferon production, positive regulation of IL-1β production, pathways mediated by chemotactic factors, integrin-mediated pathways, and adaptive immune responses such as immune cell chemotaxis, proliferation, and activation of T cells (Figure 8C(c)).
