The results showed that PLT (OR = 0.998, 95% CI = 0.996–0.999, P = 0.010) and BUN (OR = 0.917,95% CI = 0.844–0.995, P = 0.039) were protective factors for the prognosis of children with sepsis, but TBA (OR = 2.943, 95% CI = 1.604–5.402, P = 0.000), Lac (OR = 1.154, 95% CI = 1.035–1.286, P = 0.010), D-dimer (OR = 1.027, 95% CI = 1.003–1.050, P = 0.025), and increased TNF-α (OR = 1.073, 95% CI = 1.014–1.137, P = 0.016) were independent prognostic risk factors for children with sepsis.
