The growing body of literature shows that nuclear translocation of PKM2 are related to the pathogenesis of diverse CNS diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease, ischemic stroke, glioblastoma, and spinal cord injury (Dhanesha et al., 2022; Liang et al., 2016; Traxler et al., 2022; Zhang et al., 2015). Here, PKM is linked to Alzheimer disease.
