Higher cIMT is correlated with the pathogenesis of lesions of atherosclerosis [19]. Additionally, they observed that cIMT (mm) in celiac disease with positive tissue transglutaminase antibody (tTg IgA+) decreased from 0.43 ± 0.08 to 0.4 ± 0.05 in celiac disease patients with negative tissue transglutaminase antibody (tTg IgA-) (p=0.262).
