Analyzing these genes individually, we found that Aco1 is significantly correlated with worse overall patient survival in all breast cancer patients (HR = 1.56, p = 0.00014) (Figure 3C), and TNBC patients had even worse outcomes when stratified by Aco1 expression (Figure 3D) (HR = 4.22, p = 0.0041).
