The s.c. injection of CDNF was found to significantly suppress the elevated expression of the GPVI receptor in PRP at 6 h following dMCAo (Figures 6B and 6C), suggesting that post-treatment with CDNF has the potential to inhibit circulating platelet activation, as indicated by the suppression of GPVI receptor expression, following ischemic stroke.
