Molecules targeting C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR-4) [95] for haematological malignancies, neurotensin receptor 1 (NTR1) for pancreatic adenocarcinoma [96], cholecystokinin B receptor (CCK2-R) [97], the gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRP-R) [98], and integrin receptors [99] for multiple cancers are expected to represent valuable theranostic approaches in the management of these malignancies. Here, CCKBR is linked to pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
