GLS and bladder transitional cell carcinoma: To explore the role of the GLS1-Complex I axis in AA BLCA, we treated the 2 AA BLCA cell lines (UM-UC-1 and SCaBER) with increasing concentrations of glutamine and observed a dose-dependent increase in the expression of NDUFB8, increased OCR, and increased ATP production (Supplemental Figure 6, E and F).
