To explore the potential impact of NLRP1 on adaptive immunity, we analyzed by flow cytometry the T helper cytokine profile in the draining lymph nodes (dLNs) and infected ears 8 weeks p.i. No difference was observed in the frequency of CD4+ IFN-γ+ T cells, CD8+ IFN-γ+ T cells or CD4+ IL-4+ T cells in dLNs and at the infection site between Nlrp1-/- mice and control mice (S3B and S3C Fig). This evidence concerns the gene IL4 and infection.
