We performed a difference analysis of the expression profiles of 23 MRGs between BLCA tissue and normal bladder tissue based on the TCGA-BLCA cohort, which showed that the mRNA expression levels of METTL3, YTHDF1, YTHDF2, HNRNPA2B1, IGF2BP1, and IGF2BP3 were significantly higher in BLCA tissue than in normal bladder tissue, whereas the mRNA expression levels of METTL14, METTL16, WTAP, ZC3H13, YTHDF3, YTHDC1, and FTO in contrast (Figure 2A). Here, WTAP is linked to bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
