MTOR and cancer: Most of the genes were enriched in "cellular response to starvation," "protein polyubiquitination," "chromatin remodeling," "negative regulation of gene expression," and "protein stabilization." In KEGG pathway analysis, significant enrichment was observed in pathways such as the "mTOR signaling," " AMP-activated protein kinase signaling," "signaling pathways regulating pluripotency of stem cells," "cellular senescence," "phosphoinositide 3-kinase-Akt (PI3K-Akt) signaling pathway," and "pathways in cancer" (p < 0.05) (Figure 3D).
