AD hallmarks have been documented in 202/203 forensic autopsies in Metropolitan Mexico City residents ages 11 months to 40 years (Calderón-Garcidueñas et al., 2018a) and in a recent work, in 57 MMC children ages 14.8 ± 5.2 years, 100% had AD with an overlap of AD+TDP-43 in 43.9%, AD + PD + TDP-43 in 19.3% and AD+PD in 3.56% (Calderón-Garcidueñas et al., 2024a; Calderón-Garcidueñas et al., 2024b). This evidence concerns the gene TARDBP and Alzheimer disease.
