The Venn diagram (Figure 5I) shows that the adECM shares 27% of all ECM proteins upregulated in breast tumors stroma[38] and 32% of those upregulated in invasive ductal carcinomas.[32] Additionally, there was a global overlap of six proteins across all three datasets, including FN, TNS, and COL12A, which are among the most abundant proteins found in the adECM (Figure 5C).
