MiR-197 has been shown to regulate the expression of ITGAV via the STAT5 pathway, thereby affecting the proliferation, invasion, and metastasis of prostate cancer cells, while miR-197 can also inhibit the growth of prostate cancer by targeting ITGAV and regulating the development of PCSCs through the STAT5 pathway (Ju et al., 2021). This evidence concerns the gene ITGAV and prostate carcinoma.
