EPHA2 and cancer: The promising performance of BCY18469 in detecting EphA2-positive tumors in preclinical settings postulates it as an encouraging candidate for clinical translation in imaging applications with short-lived radionuclides, especially in cancer entities where specific biomarkers for molecular imaging have yet not been discovered e.g. pancreatic, gastric/ esophageal, non-small cell lung and head and neck cancers.
