CEACAM6 and lung cancer: Notably, and of particular relevance to this report, in the case of colorectal carcinoma, measuring the abundance of CEACAM6 at the protein and transcript levels in blood alongside TSPAN8, LGALS4, and COL1A2 has been found to be of potential value for early disease detection.14,15 Furthermore, recently CEACAM6 was also included in a 10-gene signature predictive model for lung cancer prognosis.44
