BRAF and neoplasm: Compared with CIMP-L/0 tumors, CIMP-H tumors were significantly associated with older age (≥ 64 years; 87% vs. 44%; p < 0.001), female sex (76% vs. 39%; p < 0.001), right-sided tumor location (91% vs. 70%; p = 0.007), medullary histology (29% vs. 9%; p = 0.003), MLH1 expression loss (100% vs. 47%; p < 0.001), KRAS mutation absence (93% vs. 50%; p < 0.001), and BRAF V600E mutation presence (27% vs. 0%; p < 0.001).
