Our study showed that the overexpression of the PCMT1 protein is associated with a worse prognosis and reduced overall survival in patients with TNBC, suggesting that PCMT1 may be a prognostic marker in this disease [12]. Similar conclusions were reached by other authors, who concluded that PCMT1 overexpression in bladder cancer was an unfavorable prognostic factor for patient survival [4]. The gene discussed is PCMT1; the disease is urinary bladder carcinoma.
