Similarly, Table 4 shows the results of multivariable logistic regression analysis, which revealed that ApoC-III level (1 mg/dl increase) (OR: 1.09, 95% CIs: 1.01–1.19, p = 0.034), age (1-year increase) (OR: 1.06, 95% CIs: 1.02–1.10, p = 0.004), total atheroma volume (10 mm3 increase) (OR: 1.03, 95% CIs: 1.01–1.05, p = 0.002), and anemia (OR: 2.16, 95% CIs: 1.00–4.67, p = 0.049) were strong independent predictors of calcified nodules within the culprit lesion. This evidence concerns the gene APOC3 and anemia.
