Currently, the clinically targeted therapeutic drugs for non-small cell lung cancer mainly include epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitors (Yu et al., 2020; Cheng et al., 2021), kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homologue (KRAS) inhibitors (Sidaway, 2021; Nakajima et al., 2022; Ou et al., 2022), anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) inhibitors (Frampton, 2013; Camidge et al., 2019; Shaw et al., 2020), and (rearranged during transfection) RET inhibitors (Huang et al., 2023; Zhou et al., 2023). Here, ALK is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
