Our transcriptomic data using sorted TRPV1+ neurons confirm the upregulation of Npy1r during allergic airway inflammation24 and highlight the upregulation of Cacna1c73 and Dmxl274 during pollution-exacerbated asthma, suggesting heightened vesicle trafficking and changes in synaptic release dynamics that may influence neuronal sensitivity and plasticity in asthmatic conditions. Here, NPY1R is linked to asthma.
