CDH1 and breast carcinoma: Specifically, women who carry a pathogenic variant in genes associated with hereditary breast cancer (ie, ATM, BARD1, BRCA1, BRCA2, CDH1, CHEK2, NF1, PALB2, PTEN, RAD51C, and RAD51D), who received thoracic radiation between 10 and 30 years of age, or who have an estimated lifetime breast cancer risk of ≥20% are considered to be at high risk for breast cancer [2-4].
