(6) Dedifferentiated and trans-differentiated SFT: Dedifferentiated SFT refers to tumors with areas of poorly differentiated epithelioid cells, round cells, or spindle-shaped high-grade sarcoma cells in addition to benign SFT areas, both of which usually show abrupt migration, and the dedifferentiated areas are usually accompanied by loss of expression of CD34, attenuated or absent expression of STAT6, and strong expression of p53 and p16 (4, 43).
